How current are the regulations in each tool?

Inspack updates its rulesets automatically. It follows 100+ regulatory sources such as FDA, EPA, and EFSA, dates each change, and re-checks content a change affects. Legal and regulatory advisors also review the rulesets regularly.

ManageArtworks says ComplAI validates against the latest FDA, EU, or FSSAI regulations. Rules for other markets are configured by your team; we did not find a public description of how those are kept up to date.

What does each cost for a real team?

Both vendors publish their prices, but they charge differently. ManageArtworks charges per plan, with up to 10 users included. Inspack charges by the number of reviews per month. Here is what that means for three typical teams, at monthly list prices as of October 2026:

Scenario

Inspack

ManageArtworks

Small brand: about 10 artworks a month, review only

$99/month (Starter, 10 reviews)

$399/month (Pro: proofing and DAM)

Growing team: about 50 artworks a month, with approval workflows

$599/month (Pro, 50 reviews, integrations)

$499/month (Growth: adds workflow automation)

Enterprise: more than 10 users, SSO, ERP or PLM integrations

Custom plan

ManageArtworks offers about 10% off when paid yearly ($359 and $459 per month), and its pricing page does not say which plans include ComplAI. Free trials: Inspack 7 days, ManageArtworks 14 days.

In short: Inspack is much cheaper for low review volumes. ManageArtworks Growth costs less for a 10-person team reviewing about 50 artworks a month that mainly needs workflow.
