# Inspack vs GlobalVision

Inspack vs GlobalVision: compare AI label compliance, proofreading against briefs and approved files, regulation updates, integrations, security, and pricing.

Inspack and GlobalVision both use AI to check packaging and labels against regulations, brand rules, and approved sources before they go to print. Inspack reviews packaging and marketing content in one platform, using required regulations that update automatically, your briefs and guidelines, and a suggested fix for every issue. GlobalVision, now part of Esko, combines precise file-to-file proofreading and print inspection with Verify CheckAI, its AI assistant for CPG label compliance.

## What does each product do?

**Inspack** covers the full review in one platform:

- **Compliance review:** checks packaging, labels, ads, social posts, websites, and marketplace listings against the regulations of each market. Inspack maintains these rules and updates them automatically.
- **Proofreading:** checks artwork against your briefs, brand guidelines, master labels, and SDS files, including spelling, in the same review.
- **Findings and fixes:** explains each issue, cites the rule, and suggests a fix.
- **Workflow:** approvals, a full audit trail, design extensions for Figma, Illustrator, and InDesign, and an API.

**GlobalVision** splits the work across four products:

- **Verify Compare:** compares new files with approved versions, including text, graphics, barcodes, Braille, and spelling.
- **Verify CheckAI:** checks CPG labels against global regulations and your custom rulebooks.
- **GVD:** inspects printed samples against the approved digital file.
- **Verify API:** embeds these checks in artwork management and prepress systems.

## How does each tool handle common review tasks?

### Checking a new label against regulations and brand rules

Upload a label to Inspack and it applies the rulesets for your markets, either the ones you pick or the ones its AI suggests from the scan, together with your brand guidelines. Each finding comes with a severity, the rule behind it, and suggested replacement copy.

Verify CheckAI starts from a similar point: it identifies the product and market on its own, runs claims, allergens, nutrition values, and mandatory statements against its rules, and returns a compliance score alongside the rule each issue breaks.

### Proofreading new artwork against the brief and approved sources

In Inspack, the brief, brand guidelines, master label, and SDS act as the reference in the same review that runs the regulation checks. A claim missing from the brief or an allergen that differs from the master label shows up next to the regulatory findings, each with a fix.

GlobalVision's Verify Compare takes a different angle. It lines up the new file against the last approved version and checks every character and pixel, including Braille and barcodes, so a change such as "500mg" becoming "50mg" does not slip through.

### Reviewing ads, websites, and retailer listings

Inspack checks marketing content against platform policies from Meta, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and checks packaging and product listings against retailer requirements from Amazon, Walmart, Costco, and Tesco, alongside claims and brand tone. It also monitors live websites.

GlobalVision compares promotional files with their approved versions. CheckAI can apply retailer rules if your team adds them to a custom rulebook.

## How are regulation changes handled?

With Inspack, rule tracking sits on Inspack's side. It follows 100+ regulatory sources such as FDA, EPA, and EFSA, updates the affected rulesets, dates each change, and re-runs content that a change touches.

GlobalVision takes a similar approach in CheckAI, describing a living rulebook hub where global regulations and your own standards are kept current together. Its public materials do not list which regulations are covered or when they were last updated.

## How do data handling and security compare?

Both vendors publish their security practices.

GlobalVision is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, and hosts its systems in SOC 2-certified environments.

Inspack is currently undergoing a SOC 2 Type 2 audit. It keeps each client's data in a separate workspace, uses it only for that client's model, and offers an optional dedicated environment on Enterprise. Details are on the [Inspack trust center](https://trust.getgen.ai).

## How do you get started, and what does it cost?

GlobalVision does not publish pricing, and access starts with a demo. G2 reviewers report an average of about two months to implement.

Inspack publishes its plans and offers two ways to start: book a demo with the team, or sign up and test the tool yourself on a 7-day free trial.

| | Inspack | GlobalVision |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Pricing | **Starter:** $99/month, 10 reviews\n**Pro:** $599/month, 50 reviews and integrations\n**Enterprise:** custom pricing | On request |
| How to start | Book a demo, or start a 7-day free trial | Demo request |
| Setup | First review in minutes; integrations typically under an hour; enterprise rollout typically 2 to 5 weeks | About 2 months on average, per G2 reviewers |

- you review ads, social posts, websites, and retailer listings as well as packaging
- you work in chemicals, pesticides, cannabis, tobacco, or alcohol as well as CPG and pharma
- regulatory, design, and marketing teams each need their own review workflow
- you want to test the product before a sales process

### Choose GlobalVision when

- you need character- and pixel-level comparison of new files against approved versions
- you verify Braille, grade barcodes, or inspect printed samples with scanners
- procurement requires ISO 27001 certification today

**Inspack is not the right fit** if your main need is pixel-level comparison against approved files, Braille verification, or scanner-based inspection of printed samples.

**GlobalVision is not the right fit** if you need review of ads, social posts, and websites, or want to start without a sales process.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is GlobalVision an alternative to Inspack?

Yes, for label compliance: Verify CheckAI and Inspack both check labels against regulations and custom rules. GlobalVision also offers pixel-level file comparison, Braille, and scanner-based print inspection, while Inspack also reviews marketing content such as ads, websites, and retailer listings.

### What is the difference between proofreading software and label compliance software?

Proofreading software compares a new file with an approved version and flags every change. Label compliance software checks whether the content itself meets regulations and brand rules, for example whether a claim is allowed in a given market. Many teams need both checks before a label goes to print.

### What should label compliance software check on food packaging?

At a minimum, the mandatory elements such as the product name, net quantity, ingredient list, allergen declaration, nutrition panel, and manufacturer details; claims against the rules of each market; and required symbols and barcodes. Retailer and brand requirements come on top.

### How much does label compliance software cost?

Pricing varies widely. Many enterprise vendors, including GlobalVision, quote on request after a demo. Inspack publishes plans from $99/month for 10 reviews, with custom pricing for enterprise teams.
